PETG stands for polyethylene terephthalate glycol, a material that is highly flammable and impact-resistant. It is suitable for vacuum and thermoforming as there is no need for pre-drying. The material is transparent in colour and has no UV protection. It is mostly used in industrial applications. It is also FDA approved (suitable in the food industry) and can also be found in medical applications.
