The main function of the edge F profile is to seal and protect the cells in polycarbonate panels. The profile reinforces the panel structurally. Due to its extended leg, it is suitable for lateral fixing of panels to timber, metal or concrete structures. The profile is similar to the eaves profile, the difference being the extended leg. The F profile does not have a trailing edge. A dust strip must be placed under the profile on the cell panels to prevent dirt from entering the channels of the panels.
